Today I have you Spring Cleaning Living Room ideas. As I talked about in my blog How to Declutter Your Home Your Way I have a sorting system that is a little more organizational versus the Maria Kondo way of using your feelings.

I start every room with sorting everything into different baskets for giving away, trash, storage, or relocate to another room. that first. I go through to find any broken or items I no longer want or need to give away or trash. Anything that doesn’t belong in that room I decide if it needs to be moved or stored somewhere else. Then I start on the cleaning of all these areas from top to bottom.

One of the biggest problems I have in the livingroom after the kids removing all the items they dropped in there is dust. Dust builds super fast. I found these great tips on getting rid of it and keeping it gone from Tidymom.net

Did you know that furniture comes with a tag on it that lets you know how to clean it? The tag is usually attached to the underside of a cushion. Here are what the letters stand for:

“W” for water based cleaning solutions

“P” for professional

“S” for a solvent

“F” for a foam cleaner

“X or “X/S” means that the furniture should not be cleaned.  Vacuuming this with an upholstery brush is your only option if this is your cleaning code.
