Do you know what the pictures have in common? They all provide energy.  Those are just a a few of the many different things I will be sharing on the ultimate question: How to get more energy? The video below was a live video I did on Facebook, but I did note the important points below.

Today it seems like everyone is tired, stressed, overworked, and looking for ways to get more energy. That doesn’t seem like it will change anytime soon. It just seems to be a way of life now. I hear so many moms are staying up later or getting up earlier to get more done, but do you actually get more done? So we think we need to down coffee, soda, or an energy drink to get one more thing checked off our to-do list, but then a few hours later we feel even more tired and don’t do what was on the agenda for later.

So this series I will be sharing tips I have found to help get more energy and and the culprits that are robbing us of energy, but I do want you to know I’m not a doctor or an expert just a mom of 8 kids that has researched and read more books than I even want to own up to on the subject. Lack of energy can be a symptom to many things like anemia, thyroid issues and diabetes. So make sure that you rule out any other underlined health problems you may have as well.

So for the next few days I want you to keep an energy journal. Note what time you wake up and the time you go to bed. If you take a nap be sure to write that down as well. Take note of how much energy you feel at each of those times of day.  Also jot down what you eat and drink each of those 3 days.  Include anything you put into your mouth even glasses of water. Before you go to bed at night rate your energy for the day. 0 for no energy at all could barely function. 10 was high energy and you were bouncing off the walls like your kids after having Mountain Dew. At the end of my series after you have actually incorporated some of my tips I want you to evaluate your three days again and see if your energy has improved.
