Welcome to Mastering Mom Chaos! 

My name is Shannah Holt. I am a wife and mom.

I have spent most of my life overweight, tired, and stressed. I have ALWAYS put everyone else first. That is what mom’s are supposed to do right?

I loved my family, but stopped loving myself.

Even though I loved taking photos, and putting together a scrapbook, I was very embarrassed of how I had let myself go and stopped allowing photos taken with me in them.

I tried a lot and I mean a lot of different programs to lose the weight. I would lose a little, then let life take back over and gain it all back plus more.

I decided enough was enough.

I want this to be life changing for YOU as it was for me!

 

 

My site is for those of you who want to live again. I don’t mean get up in the morning, get the kids off to school, go to work or clean house, cook, and go to bed to wake up and do it all over again tomorrow. I mean those of you who want more out of life, but may have lost that dream and not know where to start. 

My site is for those of you who want to feel confident again. Confident enough to not only be in the family pictures instead of taking them, but to display them to friends and family too. 

My site is for those that want to feel good and have energy to enjoy life. Some of you may start from doing nothing to doing something, others may go from doing something to being consistent, and others will go from being consistent to being phenomenal. Wherever you start at let that just be where you start, not where you finish.

My site is for those that are tired of living paycheck to paycheck. I know how hard it is to struggle to make ends meet! I want to help show you ways to save money, and not only get out of debt but live the life you were destined to live. 

My site is for those of you that have finally decided enough is enough; this time I’m not going to quit! I’m not saying it is easy, at times it will be very hard, but keep going! 

I have 8 kids I understand if you say you are busy!

I have had many physical battles with high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, and even Cancer all this at 298 lbs. 

Poor lifestyle choices almost cost our kids to not have parents. I had to do something. 

It was a simple nutrition program without counting calories, 30 short minutes of exercise that was tough but doable with modifications, a daily shake that gave me lasting energy and cut my cravings, and the big key was being a part of an online support and accountability group. The daily interaction with the ladies in this group kept me pushing each and everyday.

 I’ve lost 45 lbs and 4 clothing sizes since June 1st, and have gained so much energy and my fire is back. You know that fire you have as a teenager going into adulthood with all those hopes and dreams? I have that back and it is great!  I may not have reached my goal yet, but I am STILL moving forward.

I will show you ways to master your own chaos. Moms have so many things on their plates and I want to share my ideas with you on how to master it all and take care of YOU! Things I will be sharing are how save your family money, figure out what food is healthy and how to sneak it into your family’s diet, cut back on time spent in the kitchen, and get you started on a fitness routine you will stick with. I will also show you how to dream bigger, and strive for more! Come join the journey to a better You!
